The Plaza Club History
A Club Is Born
The Plaza Club is founded in Kansas City as an Optimist Club that took park in Mentoring High School level students. The Club established itself as a group of established leaders committed to thoughtful conversation, shared perspective, and long-term relationships. Unlike traditional networking organizations, the Club is built on trust, consistency, and intellectual exchange.
The Tuesday Morning Tradition Begins
A weekly breakfast format is established—creating a standing forum where members gather every Tuesday morning. This rhythm becomes the defining structure of the Club and continues uninterrupted for decades.
The Speaker Series Takes Shape
